Dr. Kenneth Klein
Dr. Kenneth Klein moved to New Bern, North Carolina in 1993 to open his private practice in dermatology. He established a solid patient base and moved into his new building in 1998.
Dr. Klein graduated from Valparaiso University in Indiana; has a medical degree (MD) from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio; and a Ph.D. in developmental biology/teratology from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Klein subsequently completed a three year residency in the Department of Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He acquired additional training and experience in laser medicine, laser surgery, and cutaneous surgery in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Dr. Klein also completed a fellowship in ophthalmic pathology at Duke University Eye Center in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Klein maintains his certification with The American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Ayli received his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by a research fellowship in cutaneous oncology at the University of Pennsylvania College of Medicine. Dr. Ayli subsequently completed his internship and residency in dermatology at the University of Cincinnati, followed by a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Dermatologic Surgical Specialists in Macon, GA.
Dr. Ayli practiced for four years in Florida, performing over 7000 Mohs surgical cases along with facial reconstructive surgery. Dr. Ayli has since moved to North Carolina, practicing at the Cary Skin Center and his own practice, Wake Skin Cancer Center.
